Our company is willing to relocate, if we had support from our provincial and federal governments. For some reason, many elected government officials order our company to maintain our position, while we are socially persecuted, misunderstood, violated spiritually, and stalked. One of our members is not allowed to declare a love interest. When she does, that arbitrary love interest has their life threatened, their privacy invaded and social consequences imposed. And all that love interest has done wrong, is attract the attention of one of our members who is pro-social and empathic. Even though the Canadian Charter exists and applies to most Canadians, we are not allowed to love without interference. And many of us, in our company are scarred from the treatment of our neighbours. The details are a shared history of our family.

Examples : All Canadians are forced to ascribe to a pro-choice model. We could not even compromise on a hybrid choice/life model. All Canadians are forced to accept the community standards of a specific group, even though we will never belong to that group because of our faith. And there is nowhere in Canada, where we can live in a like-minded community, where there is safety, acceptance and understanding. There will always be people who claim a right to belong to our group, even though we object to their application. So we are forced to refer to ourselves as "family." And now? We are being asked to define and legislate something we are all familiar with. Why not define "love" as well?

We are Roman Catholic. But, in our hearts, we are often protestants with deeply held convictions.

We could start a colony, but we prefer the word "convent." Where we can assert our sexuality, openly and freely, without judgment.
